The history of our company
When Wilhelm A. Drapal laid the foundation stone for the success story of the company back in 1948, terms such as healthy nutrition or “organic food” were practically unknown and certainly not a trend.
He recognised the valuable power of nature very early on. A natural power that is nowadays increasingly searched for - and, of course, often found. Michael Drapal took over the company from his father in 1979. The takeover of Dr. Hayek’s Plant Juice Company and the further expansion of our imported brands are merely a couple of examples of his successful company management. Marcus Drapal, the 3rd family business generation, took over the company and the company management in 2005.
DRAPAL is now a separate enterprise with 20 employees. We are a completely independent company and we administer worldwide business relations. In addition to our capacity as a producer, we are also the general Austrian importer of a number of renowned brands. In addition to this, DRAPAL is Austria’s largest plant juice producer. |
